What do animals get up to when not being watched

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

The most amazing thing I have seen is that albatrosses come from all over the world to Wollongong in April AFAIR to eat the bodies of cuttlefish that have just mated then died . They seem to know the exact date.

I went on a trip on an ex fishing boat where this volunteer caught and tagged the albatrosses .
They found that they came from South Africa just for the feed.
Their wings are amazing and a challenge to fold up while tagging them.

    Regards Philip A

I've often wondered how pelicans know when to fly inland, when the channel country floods, for a feed of fish. To lake Eyre, even. I noticed when the old Hornibrook bridge was in use, normally dozens of pelicans would roost on the high spots, probably drawn by the fishermen, using the bridge , dodging the cars. As soon as the channel country flooded, no pelicans. My mate from Darwin told me that an old aboriginal man said if you see pelicans on the inland waterways , be ready for a huge wet.
