I'm trying very hard to resist one of these:

Gelande II RTR D110 Truck Kit (Limited Edition)

Fortunately they keep running out of stock.

    Cheers,
    Jon

Yeah Jon, I reckon you're lucky as well, $900 x exchange rate = $1240 + postage = at least $1300 probably better off spent on the real car

Th kit version is a bit cheaper, but there are a few electronic bits that need to be added.

That's exactly what my other half said to me.... I believe her words were "you already have 2 land rovers, just drive those" and "Just spend that money on one of your real cars"

I think I'd build it up from bits rather than the rtr kit as you can put nicer accessories on it - even a working warn winch and just source the electric bits locally. However you do it though its a significant investment that would certainly be better spent on the full size one. It could pay for my winch rebuild/replacement or new roof rack.

Sadly I just can't seem to find the time to use the full size one at the moment. Had planned a few days down around Davies High Plain and Macfarlanes Hut over Christmas but it looks like I'll be spending the time recovering from a stent replacement instead. Bugger.

So I need to decide if it would look better in a G4 type orange or try to match it to Keswick Green......

Wait a minute your telling me I need to find the most expensive rc defender and show the missus. Then her response will be that I should spend that money on the car I've got?.....
Wonder if they come gold plated made of titanium and run on safron
