Proximity Keys and V8 Fuel Tank

I just wanted to give another big thumbs up for MR Automotive. It turns out my lease company put the warranty on my old F6 Typhoon which I sold and when I needed a compressor there response was "what warranty". MR were very patient whilst it all got sorted and once again first class service. It turns out I need a new KVM module to recode a new key. There seems to be some discrepancy with part numbers. LR only made the module on the proximity keys capable of having two only keys. It would seem with the V8 it is a known problem for the sender units in the fuel tank to corrode and give sporadic indications. I will take it to LR in Melbourne now that the car is here.
