Disco 4..whats this & where should it attach?

    Hi All,
I am two weeks into a road trip around south WA & thru to SA, after some off road & sand dune driving, I noticed the attached electrical termination hanging down under the rear nearside wheel arch - see pics attached.
Currently have it held up with a bull dog clip, does not look as though anything has become disconnected but what is it and where should it be fixed? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Cheers.

Can't see an exact match. On mine MY08 there is a big plug behind the plastic flap looking over the LHR tyre. I took this photo looking directly up from underneath showing the inside of the chassis rail behind this plug.

If you zoom in there is a similar plug above this.

That is the spare tyre in photo.

Whoops!! Could be wrong side. Here is RH side below filler. Suspect it is perhaps the brake pad sensor connection.

There are two connections mounted behind the shockie tower. Front one has two white with green stripe wires. Behind this another with orange and blue wires.

In any case it's obviously not setting off major alarms. A lot of trailer wiring in the LHR side.
