			D4 2.7 Turbo Hose

Just had a turbo hose split yesterday arvo 2 hours south west of Albury with the 2t van on the back in 40C odd temp
The Vic dealers I rang did not have a new hose so rang the ever reliable and helpful Justin in Hobart, who had a new LR replacement hose being delivered to Albury over night within 30 minutes.
Blacklocks in Albury are fitting it, having slotted us in at short notice.
Over all a great outcome for a not so good arvo.
Hopefully we will be back on the road to Sydney after lunch.
The ability to contact a great Independant LR mechanic is a great asset when travelling and should not be dismissed.
I owe Justin another coffee when I'm back in Tassie.

Ive had 3 ofhem go on my D3 when I put the new engine in it I had them fit the silicon intercooler house instead.

Glad you got sorted. Broke down that way in 91 in same temps, wife and baby daughter in car, no aircon and stuck on side of the road.

Local copper pull over and got us going then followed us into albury to a motel to make sure we were safe.

 Some good people out there.

 cheers
