    Defender Tyres

Anyone got any good choices for new shoes on ya Defender (2001). My main off road is coastal sand, but obviously needs to be ok on the tarmac as well.

Alos, does anyone know what the standard tyres were that came with the 2001 Defender??

    Cheers
    Jimmy

    Are these 10 ply????

Some one told me that if you can go up to 80psi they must be 10 ply, but I cannot see anywhere where it says X ply on the tyre.

Crossply tyres will have a ply rating like 8 ply or 10 ply, but Radials will have an equivalent rating like Load Range D (=8 ply), or Load Range E(=10Ply)
