    Tap--- right hand tie rod

    any one have such a thing.

    11/16 x 16 threads per inch.

    Melb, Geelong area or have to go and buy one.

    hmm yep just changed my mind!

    5/8 unf is 18tpi
    and 3/4 unf is 16tpi

    but nothing in 11/16 with a 16tpi!

    why would an engineer do this???

    G'day All, I'm not sure about RR stuff but the Series Landrover tie rod ends thread mikes up at .676 (11/16" =.678 nom) they are 16 TPI UNF 60 deg thread form both R/L threads, I'd hate to price to price a left hand tap as a right hand tap would have to cost $70+ I would imagine anyway good luck with it whatever it is cheers Dennis :roll: :wink:

    Have ordered one r/hand inter tap. left also available.
