I run a 3" on a hotted up TD5.... Noticeable power increase and note.

For a TDI a 2 1/2" with a single straight thru muffler would more than do it and cheaper too... But make sure its mandrel bent and directly from the turbo flange.

    Cheers

On any turbo, I think the bigger the better, but on an off roader you got to think of clearanse too

    Within reason!

Once you hit a certain point, performance per $$$$ soon drops.
On a TDI a 2 1/2" wont perform less than a 3" and is much cheaper option!

But for braggin rights go the 3"

    Cheers

What's the standard size on a Td5? (Too lazy to go outside and measure mine).

What muffler(s) do you have, I have been thinking about getting rid of the big one.

    mandrel bends are the go!
the key it flow and lack of restriction, the tighter the
bends the worse the system will be.
    2 1/2 plenty big enough.

    go the kubotas!

    cheers phil

    OE TD5 is 2 1/2"

U can just remove the centre box and get a muffler show to make up a flanged pipe to bolt straight in.

Provides a noticeable improvement, and great note!

    Cheers
