Discovery 3 SE TDV6 2005 "Hiccup"

My elderly D3 has done nearly 220K without missing a beat (Rovertech serviced!) but recently while driving along the engine "hiccuped", the chime went off, and there was a message on the message screen but it was gone so quickly that I don't know what it said. The engine recovered instantly. Any ideas before I take it to Kevin to see if there are any notifications on the computer.

My guess is you'll need to use a code reader to find out what happened unless there is something obvious under the bonnet. This is the first thing Kevin will do. Maybe this is the prompt for you to get one as they are an invaluable addition to your toolbox. GAP IIDTool seem to be the preferred option on this forum.
