badminton

does anyone play badminton, that come from around the picnic point area

i played badminton alot in the uk and i know it's not a popular sport over here but i know that some people do play it...........

i have been searching for clubs for ages but to no avail as most of them are a good hours drive away.....

but i have found out that the menai indoor sports centre apparently do have badminton courts
so was wondering if there was anyone tha knows of any clubs that might play there or they jus play there themsleves.....

as i'm need people to play against

Is there anything in the local paper about it at all. Another way may be to have a look through this site, or ask them: http://www.badminton.org.au/


I used to play when I was a bit younger, but sucessfully made the swap to squash and have stayed in that sport!

i haven't noticed anything in my local paper and i have been in touch with the badminton org........and the clubs that are advertised on there links with no success..........

although i have found a place in menai i can play.... when i get down there i'm hoping that i will already find an established club just so i have other people to play.......
