Was trying to drain coolant, on 07 Diesel SE, so can change thermostat. But got baulked at first hurdle, found drain tap(very hard to get at) but managed to turn it but no fluid comes out?? Opened and shut many times, put a small screw driver in to clear outlet all with no luck still no fluid. Tap sits at 12 o'clock completely vertical and will only turn anticlockwise 90deg to 9 o'clock position. Is there something I'm missing? Also are there any other traps to look out for on rest of job.
