Headlight levelling switch

Just fitted a Traxide relay and new wiring loom to my 110
but now my headlight leveling/adjusting switch does not appear to be working

wondering if I upset something when I removed the headlights to fit the new loom

any suggestions what I might need to check

Do you mean the high/low switch if so you have more than likely wired it up wrong

You might need to remove the headlights again. And check that the connector to the motor has been re-attached. Happened to me when I was replacing my (Blown) headlight globes.. (I missed one)

Ok that sounds like it's worth following up
I don't recall disconnecting it though ......I just removed the connectors from the parking light and the indicator to get the headlight surround off then disconnected the the 3 pin connectors from the head lamps them selves .....perhaps I inadvertently disconnected the motor from one ......where is it to be found it somewhere near the headlamps themselves

This post has a photo which shows the motor on the back of the headlamp. You can just see the connector sticking out of it. This is the most likely culprit.

Here's a photo of the connection as well as some others of the partially disassembled unit. If I were you I wouldn't be concerned too much if you can't get it working. I had the opposite problem in that I couldn't turn it off.
as you can see in the pics this unit is a throw away item and had to be opened with the depicted, implements of gentle persuasion. It isn't water proof and as you can see, was full of muddy water. The mud had a high Iron content and may have shorted the switch. I would have had to do irrevocably destructive surgery to find out.
I simply reassembled it and bound it with cable ties. I can still adjust the beam with a screw driver.

Thanks for that ....to adjust with a screw driver ...how do you do that ....screw in or out the bottom screw ......do you need to remove the square light sorrow down to do this

There are cutaways in the Headlight surround, one at the bottom and one on the outside. The bottom one to raise and lower, and the outside ones for left and right. You will see movement with as little as a quarter turn.
Even if the motorised device is functioning. the manual adjustment is necessary to ensure you have your preferred beam thought the range of movement on offer.
