New 4WD park South of Warwick Qld

A new park has opened up 25 kms south of Warwick Qld heading towards Stanthorpe called "The Springs"

The owners are Ian & Toni, and they have a very nice park. 8)

I was there around Aust day, and as it was the first time that they had a large group in 23 vehicles we were able to test out many of the parks tracks and amenities. (3 shower and toilet per side in new building)

The campground is flat and set in a valley, with more camping set at a slightly higher level towards the toilets. But may be more suited to vans as on a slight slope. :wink:

The tracks are easy to medium but they will get harder as more vehicles cut through the top layer and/or rainfalls.

They have a challenging track called the Skids which is more fun going up than down (let wife drive that bit and she put some of the men to shame) :roll:

Anyhow if you are looking for somewhere new try this park

Easy to find as is on the main Highway

Yeah we're planning a joint trip with LROC Brisbane and ourselves for July... they said if a group they can put on a bus trip to the Stanthorp wineries for us

Will keep everyone posted as we get closer 8)
