Yes it really ticks the boxes across many categories for the majority of aspirational SUV buyers. ...But interestingly the fords cleaned up the 4x4 categories. How does a 4x4 win overall, but not also win best 4x4?

I still think it looks like something else from the side,,
all the previous generation looked exactly like what they were,,

and LR sold every last one of those.

    as they will these.

so why not keep its identity?

The right colour helps. Lee Jackson's blue one looks heaps better than the white one I just saw in Sassafras. The darker colour softens that awkward C pillar design.

There are three engines, two levels of power for the 2l 4 cylinder plus the 3l TDV6. If these engines are good enough for a Range Rover Sport they are certainly good enough for a D5.

I saw a white one the other day and was shocked at how yuck it looked. Like a delivery van. I agree some of the other colours (dark silver) on the right angle look just ok. I saw a strange Coke coloured one which was a shock also.

    It’s not growing on me.

I have seen a heap of them around as the stealers have a new showroom not far from home.

It is actually growing on me,apart from the horrid look from the rear.

Just hope some accessories become available,if not, that will be a major issue for us.

I agree with what someone else said, darker colours conceal some features people don’t like.
