Centre Console 'Chiller' Compartment

Hi folks,

Does anyone know if the chiller compartment in the centre console of the D5 is an actual fridge or just a box with some extra insulation and an air con line routed in?

Given I only got mine last Wednesday, I have not had a chance to test the centre console chiller in my HSE Lux, but to me it looks and feels just like one of the small chiller coolers you sit on the back seat, it will keep cold things cool.

If it’s like the D4 it will be Peltier based.

Yes its a cooler, I think Peltier based, and is taller inside for larger bottles. I don't think its quite as good as the D3/4 at cooling. Or at least my D5/TDV6/HSE-Lux version doesn't seem as cold as the one I had in my D3.
