They call that engine a "Big Boy". Wonder why. It's a shame the bloody chopper drowned out the sound of it.

Hi Cuppa, that was a Challenger Steam Loco. a 4-6-6-4

After 60+ years since the last big Boy was in steam, one of the Big Boys is not yet back in steam, but will be soon, they are a 4-8-8-4.

The Challenger class were the small brother to the Big Boy.

Ironically, Barnum and Bailey had their last show a few weeks back.

Thanks for that. I didn't know Big Boy had a little brother. I should have twigged at the wheel configuration, but I didn't stop to count.
