Check for fuel at the Schrader valve on the low pressure fuel line. It has a black or red cap from memory. Turn the ignition on with the valve depressed or removed and fuel will come out. If there is air or no pressure you either have an empty tank (possible bad gauge sender) or a faulty in tank pump.

The attached may help. It talks of a special tool, but I'm sure a workshop will make do with something.

If you ran the main tank dry you need more than 20l to prime it again. You can prime the line by pressing the valve in or removing it and turning the ignition on and off a few times until no air is pumped out. Fuel will spray and it will be hot, ask me how I know.

How to do this without a special tube. You actually don't need a schrader fitting. 1/4 fuel line fits over the valve snugly.
