    OEM????

As you may have worked out I’m looking to replace all 4 air struts (210 000 kms) on my D3. A lot of people say they went with OEM. But what does that mean.

This just from the Brit-Part site. Front Struts.

    Supplier Bearmach:
    Brand OEM: Type OEM: £260.43
    Brand Dunlop: Type OEM: £165.38

    Supplier Allmakes:
Brand: PR2 Allmakes OE: Type OEM:£165.87
Brand: PR2 Dunlop: Type Pattern: £163.63

    Supplier Eurospare:
    Brand: Eurospare-OEM: Type OEM: £206.45
    Brand: Dunlop: Type Pattern: £145.44

    Supplier Brit-Part:
    Brand: OEM: Type OEM: £175.03

No sign of Delphi. Paddock Spares had a photo of a rear strut in front of a Delphi box. When I contacted them asking if the front strut was also Delphi they replied that they didn’t who made the front or rear strut only that they were OEM. Some members said they thought they had ordered Delphi but were un-branded. Still waiting for a reply from Duckworths.

Has anyone ordered and received branded Delphi struts? If so from where?

Replacing 4 air struts is not an insignificant investment and OEM seems like a lucky-dip.

If I can’t source Delphi’s I might need to go Genuine$$$. Any views on Arnott struts?

Thanks If you made it this far.
