SupporterSo I'd looked at some UK solutions, but they cost far too much especially as they had to be shipped assembled on a pallet. So I went looking for another solution to a solid, metal based drawer system that could give me a flat load area. So I went to Dave at Aussie Tool Boxes in Carrum Downs (Vic). He has prototyped a solution for me. Cost $1260 but anyone else going forward it will cost a bit more as this was a bit of a trial.
Checker plate all aluminium, solid runners with excellent load rating. It's going back tomorrow for final touches but here's some pics with half the floor down. Awesome box and pretty impressed with results.
I didn't opt for tie down points on it. Could have shortened it to accommodate cargo barrier, but don't need it now. Just removed the piece of plastic footing around the back row seat feet.

SupporterSo chucked all my stuff I usually carry in a crate box into the drawer, all fits including compressor, tools, first aid kit, numerous ratched straps and tie downs, snatch and recovery straps, shackles, tarps and other gear. Bout ribbed rubber matting for $40 at Clarks Rubber.

What weight does that add do you think? I’m thinking of Drifta Drawers for my LC Prado but haven’t yet decided on fit out for my 110.

Supportergoing to use weighbridge at work and try and suss out how much weight added.
Off Road Systems in Sydney (ORS) made the aluminum drawers for my Defender. I'm very happy with the unit. Looks like yours but has a carpeted top. Cost about $1200 from memory.
Can certainly get a lot of stuff in that big wide drawer and the side compartment. Only the compressor is too tall to fit.
Clears the back out nicely.
Mine has a space behind the drawer with a lid where I have fitted a second battery (an AGM laid on its side and clamped down) and run plugs across to under the passenger's side near so I can just open the rear door and connect solar. My fridge is also connected on that side.
I think the drawers weigh about 45kg empty.
Make sure you put wide washers on the bolt heads underneath so they don't pull up through the holes in the floor on corrugations.

SupporterSo I put it on the axle weigher total comes in approx 2330 kg, kerb weight of a 2015 110 is 2055 kg and a gross vehicle weight up to 3050 kg. So plenty to spare.
So the difference is about 275 kg, so I have a front runner roof rack 30 , front bar 40 kg and winch 40 kg, rear NAS bar step 26 kg and at least 15 to 20 kg of sound deadening, snorkel 4kg checker plate and 3/4 tank of fuel and the crap in it I reckon this drawer system weighs in around... 35 to 40 kg.

SupporterTook the drawers apart and sound deadened it with some spare dynamat and stage 2 deadener to minimize some of the slight rattle where there is a slight gap on the driver's side between the lower and higher points of the wheel box near the fuel filler bit. Sounds much better now.
