Help Eevo find a RRS or FFRR tdv8

hello.

im looking at buying a rrs tdv8 2008-2010 (pre facelift)


how can i tell which options have been installed?

options im interested in are
Sunroof - ok, this ones easy to tell
Personal telephone Integration System - this one im struggling on.
Premium Navigation System - ok, this ones easy to tell
Front Park distance control - ?
Powerfold mirrors - ?
Console cooler box - easy to tell. does it only run when the car is on?Adaptive headlights - not sure what this is
Premium ICE - how to tell, prob not that important
Tow bar pack - just look for a tow bar?
Active Rear Diff - im guessing most people didnt order this option?
heated seats - was this even avalaible in aust?

ive read that models with v8 were fitted with electonci rear diff, is this true or only in the UK?

what else do i need to know?

Put the VIN into Topix. It will give the build. Google or ask here anything you don’t understand.

Topix is never wrong - I've caught a few dealers out, trying to pass different vehicles to the ones advertised.

So my advice is to trust the build that Topix shows you and question the dealer about the differences, chances are they are lying in the ad or to you.

its build date was july 2008. i saw it with my own eyes.

Put the VIN into Topix. It will give the build. Google or ask here anything you don’t understand.

Topix no longer provides the information that it used to with respect to the build for "standard" topix users.

Dealers have access to the full information and some will download it but many will not.

well no, ive checked out the car once quickly.
its build date was july 2008. i saw it with my own eyes.

Topix says 2009 but if the sticker on the car says Jul 08 then there is definitely an inconsistency somewhere. Both comply with a 09MY car. Page 4 of the car's Service Portfolio should have the entry completed for when it was delivered - if the car was built in Jul 08 the delivery date in the Service book should be around Oct-Dec 08. If the build date is in 09 then the delivery date should be Apr to Jul 09 - rough I know but should give an indication which date is correct.

But have a LR dealer put in the VIN into Topix and they can tell you exactly what it is. If the date on the sticker near the radiator and the Topix date differ then I would be checking why. As said Topix is normally correct but I guess errors can be made in any system

Interesting... It still gives details for later cars and my 2010 D4 but not for this RRS. It may be they don't give access to older vehicles.

Yes that is what I used to get for my car on the old Topix but since they updated it I only get what Evo got. However I understand that business clients like dealers can access the full list.
