    D4 tow pro elite wiring

Instead of running the red wire (brake trigger wire) down the back to pick up the brake light signal.
Why not connect it to the brake pedal switch ?
It's really close to where you would mount the controller.
Then you only have to run one blue wire to the back left tail light and cut and connect .

Because there is potential to feed back into the JCB and you’re already running a wire from the front to back so this makes it beater and electronically safer.

Yes. Thanks Tombie. A closer look at the wiring diagram shows the power heading from the switch to the BCM. The BCM then powers the brake lights.
Probably best not to energise the BCM from the switch end and not have the other pole opened.
    Just asking for fault codes.

    Tow Pro Elite

    Hi
I’m going (in a couple of weeks) to have a go at fitting a Tow Pro Elite into my 2015 D4, I’ve searched through all the feeds, but can’t tell if there’s any major issues to be mindful on the electric gremlins or is it fairly straight forward? Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks Chris
