One of my acquaintances has an ex ambulance with a luxury fibreglass slide-on that fits either on the back or on his tandem trailer. The Perentie completed the Canning Stock Route last August. Needed a little help on some of the really tough sand dunes, but otherwise fine, except for the time he didn't put down one of his gullwing side cupboards and found a tree - ouch! Apparently taking off the original heavy steel rear is the best step 1.
