My memories of the Burke & Wills roadhouse is of the dozens of little birds waiting for each vehicle to park, and then swarming over the front to eat the grasshoppers caught in the front. Cute little beggers. Driving down the Wills development road to Julia Creek was a pleasant drive. Might be time to saddle up again.
