Half shaft bearing (244150) - need to be packed like wheel bearings ?

Hi All, just wondering if this bearing needs to be packed, or is it lubricated from Swivel oil ? It's on the outer side of the axle seal, so presumable diff oil wouldn't reach it.

    Thanks
    John

Swivel is filled to above the bottom of the race, so not needed (but won't hurt, especially if it is likely to be left for some time before filling the swivel, to keep moist air off the bearing).

Also, on the same topic, can one grease pack the bottom bearing and race on assembly and railko pin/bush so not installing dry?

I guess so, the grease will go into solution with the EP90.
Personally I used EP90 and a paintbrush (reserved for use with oil) and 'paint' everything inside the swivel hub, especially if it will be standing for some time before used on the road.
I also have an oil can filled with EP90, easy to squirt some EP in before you install the stub axle.

I did on mine just for a bit of overkill, but the book didn't say to do it, so I guess it's not critical.
