D3-wheel height sensor error /lost communication

    Hi all,
Hoping some one maybe able to help.

My front drivers wheel height sensor is throwing codes and the navigation display(HSE) shows the wheel at full extension (in the down position) no matter what height it actually sits at.

    I have:
    -Replaced the sensor
-check continuity with multimeter from sensor connector back to the large connector under passanger front wheel arch.
-checked above mentioned large plugs (very clean) and sprayed with contact cleaner just in case.
-removed battery and checked all plugs into computers. Again all very clean.

I now have 'lost communication' with compressor exhaust valve' and the car is sitting on its guts. Gap IID tool won't raise car either (not sure if related or seperate?)

Is there anything else I could do before I take it to a professional?
Im going back to Uni on a couple of months. Thinking this may not be the best vehicle to own on a Uni budget...D3-wheel height sensor error /lost communication

Thanks in advance for your help.

Perhaps you should clear all faults then see what returns.

Brake globes always seems to cause all sorts of issues. No idea but worth considering

Last year I had the canbus module in my instrument cluster fail and there where many similar faults(but many, many more lost communication codes between modules). I'd be rechecking all the plugs you disturbed to make sure they all are properly seated and joined together, clear the codes and see what comes back.
