What was the total cost of all the work. I have been wondering if I should go down the same path.
I am new to Perenties. Purchased a FFR perentie from auctions and KLR picked it up for me to install turbo and power steering and new clutch. I caught the train from Sydney CBD to Windsor (cost me $4.50) and picked up Perentie. Brad and James at KLR did a great job for me and didn't mind chatting about the car and their passion for the various jobs they have done on other Perenties and Landrovers. Very refreshing to talk to a couple of decent blokes who did a go job for a fair price. I recommend them. for your next service

Power steering was 2,800, turbo was 5,300 and needed a new clutch was $2K. The changes mean I can use it for a second car to get to ferry and kids sport on weekends and then go away in it. The turbo means its as quick as most in city traffic, power steering means you can parallel park. I'm sure some will do it cheaper or do it yourself but you get what you pay for.
