    My Defender 90 is gone

When I was going to the shopping center this morning. The clutch master cyclinder was leaking badly. And I was unable to select any gear. Called up the emergency service and they have tolled my car to the service center.

I've no fender for this weekend....

They said to me that my fender will be ready by Monday. :?:

I have heard about the 90's trip. Is someone is going to organize it? I am very interested in that

    Cheers,

    Greg

Phil, your 'Fender is new! Why does it need a new clutch master cylinder kit? Isn't it under warranty?

yap, my fender is 2 year old and has only done 37000km. (still under warrenty, but not for long)

I think it is a little bit early for the clutch master cylinder failure.

    Cheers,

    Greg

The dodgy clutch masters are generally only lasting about 40,000kms max in the fenders. It should only take them a couple of hours to change. Just make sure they change it and do not put a kit in as it will be leaking again quickly. See if you can keep the old one and get it re-sleeved at a brake and clutch centre in stainless steel, so when the warranty runs out you have a spare of decent quality ready. I am on the 3rd in my fender in 45,000kms. New one put in when only 5,00kms and a month of ownership under warranty.
