Unhappy The wait has just got longer

Well it has landed but due to some change in testing of emissions for All 2019 plated vehicles the wait and back log is long
As out lined below **** and I had booked a week off work to run it in on a road trip.

    JAGUAR LAND ROVER SALES BULLETIN
    DATE: 16/10/2018 REF: JLRA181003
SUBJECT: World Harmonised Light Vehicle Testing Procedure or WLTP
    Dear Colleagues,
We are currently experiencing unexpected delays to several model lines that prevents the wholesale release
    and invoice to retailers.
This is due to the introduction of a new emissions testing standard called World Harmonised Light Vehicle
Testing Procedure or WLTP. This replaces the previous New European Drive Cycle or NEDC test, which
previously formed the basis of all economy and emissions data in Australia.
The change has caused ALL manufacturers to carry out an exhaustive retesting procedure for every vehicle
with a new engine, or drive line combination or any significant mechanical change. With so many vehicles to
be tested by all manufacturers the approval process has slowed, causing significant delays to both the testing
procedure as well as the release of the data.
The timeline for the procedure is as follows:

Testing carried out in Europe - 5 weeks

Finalisation and publication of results - 2 weeks

Submission to the local authorities in Australia - 2 weeks

Final approval and printing of fuel labels - 3 weeks
It is important to note the following:
These time frames whilst correct at the time of writing, are constantly changing.

We are in constant contact with Europe as well as the authorities locally in order to speed the process
    as much as possible

Some engine options within model lines will be released at differing times. It cannot be assumed that
if one engine is approved, all will be approved at the same time
Please share this with your teams, and also with your customers.
Should you have any questions, or require any additional information please contact your RSM.
