Sorry forgot to say we are in the brisbane region
Might be a long shot but would anybody have a 300tdi injector pump removal tool, the one where you can lock the timing belt in position without having to remove all the timing belt cover. I could possibly borrow over a weekend, happy to pay for the lend. Just dont have the time to wait to get one from overseas and cant seem to find one in australia.

FWIW I have only ever removed the timing belt cover and used a 3/8" bolt. Seemed straightforward enough. If you can do it without it would save some time/effort.
Yea im trying to avoid removing the cover if possible because i had it all apart about 6months ago to replace the timing belt and now the fuel injector pump has started leaking really badly.
I made one, a few years ago, using instructions i found on this forum. Worked nicely, long gone tho (as is my 300tdi)
I made one also for the same reason you mention
Had Recently done T belt but then had to yank the FIP
Unfortunately it went with all my 300tdi bits when I sold the old 130
BUT it’s pretty easy to make
Pull off the AC idler/tensioner (if you have it)
Sits in front of the FIP gear
Then measure up the three M8 threaded holes in the gear
Hunk of 10mm ally or some 6mm steel with three holes drilled and a centre hole to loosen main FIP nut
then Bolt it up and voila
The plate simply clamps the gear (and t belt) to the front cover while you slide
The FIP our the back
'95 130 dual cab fender (gone to a better universe)
'10 130 dual cab fender (getting to know it's neurons)
I ended up buying a kit from roverparts, now hopefully fix the fip today
