Poor engine performance will trigger a gearbox fault.
The suspension lowering suggests the brake system reported a fault. Have you checked the ABS ecu for faults?

Just finished a 7000km trip and on the trip home from Woomera to Darwin the car went into fault mode 3 times. Once I reset the fault the car would drive fine , a couple of times we travelled over a 1000ks before the next fault. We were sitting on 100ks/h or there abouts each time and had been doing so for several hours so it didn't seem as though we had done something different to trigger it.
U2023 - Fault from external node- engine torque information signal invalid
U2290 - Injector control pressure to low
First would come the transmission fault with F gears and then the suspension lowering message , as we were letting the car slow to find a suitable place to pull off the Engine Fault Message would appear in the message centre
So I am unsure of which fault causes which , does the car going into limp mode cause the injector low pressure fault OR does the low injector pressure fault cause the transmission to fault
What do people think , and has anyone experienced this.???
I am not sure if I have an electrical gremlin or if I have a fuel pressure issue starting. Fuel filter was changed just before leaving and has 7500ks on it since fitting - I have long range tank so I fuelled up at port augusta then never fuelled again till Alice where I refuelled and the car did fault 2 times since leaving Alice so not saying it couldn't be fuel filter but I would have thought it would have faulted more if it was.

						Super ModeratorAfter the first fault I ran thru most of the systems , engine , transmission , transfer case and ABS and the only 2 faults were the 2 I mentioned.
I am back home now , so tomorrow I will check all systems again.
Bit duanting when it happens when the closest roadhouse or town is 100 plus km away , so wasnt to keen sitting on the side of the road in 35 degree heat if i didnt need to.

						Super ModeratorThis is what generally happens to mine. Results in the dash displaying a "Special Programs Off", "Engine System Fault" and one other I can't remember right now. Drops the suspension down and Engine into "less power than a Hyundai Getz" mode.
It's a shame I never get time stamps on the Engine codes.

I get the idea the Engine ECU stops (if however briefly) sending, or changes the way it sends CAN data when its in crisis mode causing dependent systems to drop into fault.
Can’t remember the exact codes, but my D4 went into limp mode after apparently picking up some dodgy diesel, pretty soon after a refill from empty, at a roadhouse in the Midwest of WA. The great guys at Geraldton LandRover reflashed the ECU and have had no issue since.
Changed out the fuel filter soon after and ran a couple of bottles of diesel flush through the system during the next few tank fills.
