Well got back from the stones at 1:30am this morning and can safely say the stones were at their best last night. The Stage was more impressive at Voodoo Lounge in 95 but the stones themselves were brilliant last night. Mick sounded great and he still has it after 43 years of perfoming he is still the ultimate performer. 100/10.

Once upon a time (circa 1984) in Venice my ex and I chose a table at a café in St Mark's Square and ordered coffee in broken Italian.

The adjacent table was occupied by an ugly man accompanied by two very attractive blonds...Keith Richards. 8O

Then we were surrounded by Carabinerri and a diminutive figure dressed in turquoise appeared... the Queen Mother 8O
