Such a time must come to us all.
Best wishes.
Goodbye and thanks for all the fish. Sold my D4, my S1 and my S111 swb, no more landys at my house. Enjoyed owning and working on my landys over the last 25 years. Retired now and have moved on from the D4 to something no where near as good but not as expensive to look after either. If I win the Lotto or some unknown rich relative bequeaths me lots of money I will buy a new Range Rover and one of the new Defenders. I still love LandRovers. See you off the road.
Such a time must come to us all.
Best wishes.

After much research I now have a 3.2 litre latest model Ford Everest Trend, engine very much like TD5, very familiar terrain response looking knob. Drives well on the road, not enough kms to try off road yet, obviously not a D4 but not bad so far. Not unhappy, would have preferred a 3 litre V6 Discovery 5 but I am not well heeled enough. You spend the money you have and make your choice and live with it!
