traction control light coming on - sharp corner while towing

I had this light flash on momentarily about three times on a weekend away recently, slow speed maybe up to 60km hr, sharp corner with a caravan in tow

as far as I’m aware there was no sliding or wheel spin so I’m not sure why this would have triggered?

I had this towing down in Tassie on a tight downhill switchback that I took a touch fast. There was no perceivable slide but as far as I was concerned it was just the system working as per normal. Potentially a rear wheel may have lifted a poofteenth but I really couldn't say. The brakes pulsated for a 1/2 second or so and then all was normal. The system is reasonably sensitive and presumably gets even more sensitised when in tow. This is good imo!! Keeping you safe.

as above .... normal , just the dsc doing its thing , the weight of trailer wanting to push the back of the car as you take a corner a bit quick

But, if your car is not recognising the trailer is connected it will not compensate. Is the trailer light flashing when you indicate? A long subject well covered here if you plug LED trailer lights into the earlier models D3.

There is a road out the back of Christmas Hills where I like to see if I can drive it at 100kph minimum. In my old car I would set the cruise control to 100kph and just add extra speed when I wanted and just back off on some of the sharper corners without braking. In the D4 the TC takes over and disenguages the cruise control as well as the light flashing. Not using the cruise control even with the foot on the pedal the TC takes over and takes off the power. Bit annoying as an ex rally driver I like to have a bit of fun! Not sure which button would stop that happening. DSC?

I used to turn off DSC when towing with my D3 as it was very intrusive. the D4 was much improved but on especially windy roads I would sometimes turn it off. Check your tyre pressures as well as discrepancies across axles won't help.
