    It will be the companies which don't offer EVs which will be shutting production because of a lack of demand as cities ban ICE vehicles and air pollution regulations become ever more stringent.

    Thats seems a bloody long time, but really 2000 was not that long ago. . I'll wager that people will stop buying petrol and diesel cars way before 2039 .
