Td5 aircon removal

Has anyone totally removed there aircon?...there crap to start with and I could use the extra leg room and the space to mount radios

My understanding is the td5 and 300tdi AC setups were similar ?

I yanked all the useless stuff from my old 300tdi and just left the compressor for an “endless air” system. Replumbed it’s intake from the rocker cover to ensure oiled intake, kept the receiver dryer in line after pump and then fed down to a 25L pressure tank under the drivers seat box... 12V switch to engage clutch

In any case the removal was easy, just unbolt the stuff under dash and yank out plumbing and wiring
