    Eaton Detroit soft locker install

Hi everyone, trying to find a video or comprehensive step by step with images of how to install an Eaton Detroit soft lock in a Salisbury diff for my defender 130 300tdi.
Everything I’ve found is only partially described or illustrated.

It looks like you pop the old one out and put in the new centre but I’m trying to make certain before I do anything.

Be grateful if anyone could share or point me in the right direction.

I cannot help with a vid but when I did mine I just followed the written instructions that came with the locker and it all worked fine for me.

They are a "lunchbox" locker. You remove the cross, spiders and side gears and install the locker into the diff casing. They come with instructions. A Dana 60 diff spreader is handy to remove the diff and check shims and backlash.
