ARB Deluxe bar vs Summit bar - Will they both fit?

I could be stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I have a 2011 D4

ARB tells me they can't fit summit bar to a pre facelift D4 as its not approved for this car, so they are steering me towards the deluxe bar

However, two issues:
1) the summit bar looks waaaaay better (in my opinion)
2) I have the facelift grill and lights which are slightly different therefore I'm worried there would be a strange gap (or worse it wont fit) if I get the deluxe bar.

Has anyone fitted a deluxe bar to a facelift D4, or has anyone else fitted a summit bar to a pre-facelift d4?

I want to be sure the mountings are all identical before I buy and spray a new ARB bar.
Also - how hard are they to fit? ARB said they "probably wont do it" so it's going to be up to me.

Cant help with the bar choice but they are fairly simple to fit but there are some fiddly bits like cutting the inner guard where the bar lower capping meets the plastic liner, indicators need to be wired as well .

I have attached the fitting instructions that came with my bar which covers D3 to D4 2011.

Heres my MY11 D4 with ARB bar. Dont know off the top of my head if its Summit or Deluxe, but i wouldnt have a 4wd without one now. This one came with the car when i bought it 5 years ago.20190806_180740.jpg

I believe even with the facelift models, the gaps below the lights and grille would remain the same, and mounting points for the bar are also the same, as the facelift D4 still has the same chassis as the pre-facelift vehicles.

That’s a Deluxe bar, Summit bars have larger diameter tube work and are more rounded on the bar edges.

Summit bar will fit bit was not approved for earlier models therefore they can’t fit it.

If you got it yourself and fitted yourself it won’t be a problem.

Yes, local has one fitted. Same brackets etc.
