It's got as aftermarket regulator on it. The original one just has a hole. It attaches to nothing. You can run a hose on it and run it below the starter motor. This way if it leaks it doesn't full the starter with diesel
Hi there.
Just about to change the fuel pressure regulator on the td5 defender 1999 and found the vacuum fitting on the regulator isn't connected to anything.
Is this normal or should it be connect to the plenum somewhere?
Thanks.
