A small block of wood to work on
wheel bearing kit x 2
spanner rolls, long and short with stubby ratchet ring set as these have saved me so many times
Big hammer and plastic lead shot hammer
big cold chisel
different sized shifters
screw driver kit
2nd cut file, hand smooth file with handle. can be used as a splint as well
pliers, side cutters, multi grip set
multi meter or test lamp
rolls of electrical wire
1/4 & 1/2 socket set
If possible 1/2 battery impact gun
penetrate spray
1 - 2 spare unis
wheel bearing and general grease tubs
tubes of sealant
that silver stretchy tape & gaffa tape rolls & elec tape rolls
wire brush - for general stuff & getting sand from between rims & tyres
a few packs of different size zip ties
4 strong ratchet straps
a flat heavy duty old cardboard box - folds up out of the way somewhere, used to lie on under car, can be burnt
a good size tarp with 100m strong chord
a good sized knife
roll of strong wire
bag of different sized nuts and bolts, washers etc
big plastic bags used for collecting water - fold flat - take up no space
fire lighting kit
small folding saw - Silky best brand to get
strong jack - use wooden block as base on soft ground
good torch & head lamp with spare batteries - best if they both take same size batteries
if possible EPIRB or PLB
fire extinguisher, bigger the better
first aid kit
Sounds like a lot but it allows you to do most repairs to vehicle
straps used for holding together damaged parts and building shelter
all other gear self explanatory - mainly focused on survival and handy around camp
I believe it's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it
my 2 cents worth
