Passenger Side Low Beam Not Working - 2014 PUMA

    Hi All,

One of my lights wont work on low beam (passenger side). I have installed a Traxide harness d checked the fuses for both head and spot lights. All intact. High beam works as do driving lights, park lights.

Are there separate globes for low and high beam? I also read there is a potential switching issue but this looks to affect both lights.

Any ideas on what the issue could be?

    Andrew

Single globe, but dual filament, so the most likely culprit.

Other than that check the connections in the new harness from the relay out, but from memory there isn’t much in that harness that would affect only one light.

    Check the bulb first.

    Cheers,
    Jon

Changed the globe and all good - phew.

Supercheap had a lot of different options such as whiter light, more light (but same watts) etc but I went with a replacement for what I had. I figured a different globe wont make too much difference from a practicality perspective if I keep the reflectors and lenses. If I was going to 'Pimp my Ride' the whiter (or whatever) globes might look different but be of little real world use. For proper light I have HID Super Oscars anyway.

    Cheers

    Good choice.
Whiter doesn't mean MORE light, it's just a different colour.
For more light get Plus bulbs.
I have Plus 50s in the standard lights and they make a noticeable difference.
