Can you manually lock a D3?

Is it the same process as unlocking when your fob isn't working i.e. via the passenger side door handle? If so mine does not appear to lock manually.

With LHS front door open push button on dash to lock all other doors and tailgate. Close LHF door and use key to lock the door.

If all actuators are working correctly and completely the vehicle will be locked.

That make sense thanks very much. I'm assuming this will not trip the alarm next time I manually open LHS front door as I haven't used the fob to lock?
