how much did they want for the RR rims and anyone know if thy'll go on a P38?
Thanks
Jase
Range Rover Vogue rims are not correct fitment for D3. To confuse things even more, 05 rims for Rangies are different to 06, due to a difference in wheel nut taper.

I like these....
Only 16" may not fit D3.
Will fit D2 & P38 though....

Thanks mate, I had a feeling they might not. Jase the price they are asking for the rims are $150 each, do not know if they would fit P38 or not, not my level of expertise are tyres and rimsOriginally Posted by BigJon

						Guys,
I recently fitted Genarl Grabbers AT2 tyres (255/55/18) to replace the standard Wranglers fitted and they have been nothing short of fantastic. A true At pattern more agressive than the BFG At and almost as aggressive as the BFG MT. $320 each and they are quieter and the vehicle steers better. The big bonus is that theya re also 109H rated for high speed, identical to the factory fitted specification. Reinforecd side walls, the lot. So far I have found them to be a great alternative to buying a second set of rims and tyres.
General tyres are fitted as standard by Land Rover on Defenders and they are owned by Continental who I believe also own Simex? I got a hold of them through ARB in St Peters in Sydney.

oops I forgot to add I think they now offer the same in a 60 profile developed especially for the D3. Have a look at www.generaltyres.com may not be the right ling but put it in a search engine or PM me and I can get it off my tyres as it is stamped on them.
Thanks mate, it is www.generaltire.com, they say a 255/60/r18 is coming out in fall. They look great, heard good things ( including yourself) so have sent some enquiries to find out what the go is. Anyone know when "fall" would be in the states??Originally Posted by ******

Stevo ( getting more excited at thought of proper offroad tyres and rims)
Ok, heard back from a Tyre distributor here in Oz and he tells me that the AT Grabber 2 will be available in the USA in Sept, so more likely around December here, so unless something comes up in between I am most likely to wait rather than put something inferior on, as most of the tyres that I have found or been told arent much different from the All Weather HP's I have now. Will keep posted,
