Hi there - new to the Group. Warning on earth connection failure MY 20 Disco
Everything was perfect there for 2 months after purchase then I started to get some strange electrical issues - the car would shut down when the autostop activated itself amongst other things. This was followed by a complete shutdown - jumper leads fixed that and I got it home. It started the next day for the to drive to the LR service after trickle charging over night. 1 Klm into the journey I lost power steering - shuddering on and off at 50k's an hour going into a corner - very dangerous indeed. It was eventually fixed after the LR shop discovered a faulty earth point / rivet - requiring spare part from Melbourne.
All is well since then. I gather this is not a common problem?

I read somewhere of a TSB covering that. I thought it was on earlier years though. I have an MY20, so will keep an eye out.
