						There’s an abundance of similar but not quite the same clips of eBay but I can’t be sure they will substitute so don’t want to commit to buying a bunch! Has anyone tried any and can recommend ones that will work.

						that's where my two are. the two that hold the panel under the steering column on. Swallowed into the dash black hole. I searched for hours but couldn't find either of them. I'm going to take a punt on $2 Chinese ones (delivered). I'll report back in 6 months when they finally arrive
They will be down the bottom where the lower “hinge” point goes in.
Cheap as chips from Mario etc
I take a never be defeated approach with these clips and even if it involves partial disassembly of the lower dash I always find them.
It is easier to just go to the dealer and get them - normally less than $4 each and they have the same problem of loosing clips when they service cars - time is money and they do not go looking for them if they cannot be found. So they are nearly always in stock at dealers.
