    130 buying advice

    Hello everyone,
I went today to check a 1996 130 with 250k km on the clock.
Mechanically is in very very good conditions, there are receipts of recent major work done and also of past work done.
Recently done timing, swivel, steering joints, fuel pump recond and more.
It is twin air locked and has no rust anywhere! I have checked doors, floors, pillars and it is incredibly good.
The central diff light doesn't come on when engaging.
The brakes also need little attention.

It has been slightly lifted and has brand new bfg.

How much do you think it can be worth?

I am so confused with this covid tax around ...

    Thanks!!

What is its appearance like? (Paintwork - Dents in the Panel work - Interior)

If it's in micky mouse condition I would have thought around +/-$20k ??

There isn't too many straight ones available for under $20-$25, some of the $15 k ones probably need $10-15 spent to get them reliable and useable.

Could be... I've seen some for $25k or thereabouts but to me, it would want to be in flamin good condition to pay that sort of $$ as no matter how good it maybe - a vehicle that age will need various seals; brake lines, hoses, etc, etc replaced purely on it's age no matter how well the previous owner looked after it (unless they have replaced these sort of items already)

Don't forget they ain't making them anymore, they are now collectible for sure, so actual value based on usefulness is already semi irrelevant.

    Cheers
