Remote control switch

Hi all,
A friend has just got a 08 D3 TDV6 and needs to find where the Remote Control Switch.

Any help greatly appreciated.

What is the Remote Control Switch - do you mean the locking control key fob?

He,s got lots of :U; codes, he will send me the codes tomorrow or next day.
Engine is running but only on 2-3 cylinders( no codes for engine), so he,s looking at that tomorrow and will get back to me.

Told him about the workshop manual and he reckons he,s getting one from the UK.

Will let you all know how he gets on with it.

If its running then its not the FOB if that is what he means, description is a bit vague.

Yes I agree- without more information it is hard to work out where to start looking.

Hi DG. The 08 D3 does not have a "remote control switch". Can you describe in some other words what it might be you are looking for? Matti

Hi guys,
Havent heard back from him.
He either received the w/shop manual from pommyland that he ordered or
he hasnt got round to working on it.

He did say he was going to look at getting the engine to run properly before he tackled the rest of the
idiosyncrasy of the D3.

He,ll let me know if he needs any info.
