    2.7 ECU remap ???

    Gday All
So who has it, where did you get it , and are you happy for what it cost.

Will be looking at towing a van in the near future, so before I loose $$ unloading the D3 and all the spares and experience I have with it , thinking a remap may be a cheap starting option.
I wont be in a hurry towing , but trying to convince the boss to go smaller and lighter is proving to be a struggle so will accept the van will be 3t range and go from there. I regularly tow 3 trailer road train for work so not concerned with that side , but looking at helping the 2.7 cope a bit easier.

Look forward to hearing the good and the bad.

I had a remap done when my EGR let go. Decided to go remap & delete rather than fix. Almost no lag now which I love. Much nicer to cross busy streets , etc. Economy hasn't changed that much (maybe a little better Hwy). Power increase is good but not stupid. I hear many match it with an I-Drive but I haven't done this. A nicer car to drive IMHO.

I also have had a Bell Auto Services Tune for about 8 years and 150,000km - no issues.

If choosing local - go with a specialist LR tuner.
Not a generic tuner, or anyone offering the Autologic base tune.

Cameron from OldJaguar (Cambo on here) is a good bloke for domestic tuning.

Bell Auto via GAP IID tool. Fast simple and a noticeable improvement. Would do it again. Tows my 3T boat with ease.
