I'm wiring up my dip switch, I've got a new loom. Is there any way of knowing which of the connections on the switch are which ? I'm happy there is an earth, high beam and low beam. I assume when the plunger is lowered it creates a contact to points, when it retracts the point rotate to create the circuit to the opposing circuit (low or high beam) but what I don't is which is what on the switch. Does this make sense ? (I'm a complete novice when it comes to auto-electrics)

Been a while but I don’t think that any of those terminals will be earth. One will be power and the other two will go to the lamps. The earth should be close to the lamps.
