    DIY Clearsight equivalent?

Has anyone done a DIY/aftermarket 'clearsight' equivalent on a Discovery 4?

It strikes me as a genuine safety plus, and I've used the equivalent in some work vans. When loaded for camping etc, the rearview centre mirror is useless, and I would love to do this.

JB Hi Fi lists some 'rearview mirror cameras'. Rear View Mirror Monitors - Car Camera Kits At JB Hi-Fi

But they seem to be focused on actual reversing - anyone know if they can be rigged to be switched on/turned off to run 'permanently' when driving normally?

The other issue will be camera mounting. Either tailgate, or up at the back somehow...

    Thoughts?

I've put a rear camera (either on the car or on the van) switchable onto the Nav screen in the D3. Not replacing the rear view mirror however.
