I have just purchased a MY14 D4 with 8 speed tranny 168k on the clock. This is to replace my dead D3. Very nice to drive. I do have a problem locking the car however. I need to press the lock key on the fob numerious times and it will eventually lock. It will unlock with a single press on fob and the tail gate unlocks with one press as well. I can change the unlock from all doors unlocking to just driver door unlock. Unfortunately I only have one fob and no emengency key with it. I'm wondering if I have a faulty fob or if it could possibly be the security module. I have gone back to the Stealer I purchased it from but I'm yet to hear back. Any thoughts appreciated.

Worth trying a $5.00 battery first? Mine seem to last around 3 yrs.
